http://www.billbrutal.com/

http://www.learn-to-play-guitar-online.info

http://www.8notes.com/ (click on guitar picture)

Hi there and i just wanna tell you i found a AWESOME site for beginner guitar players like myself. It has gotten me to the point where i know most basic chords, strumming patterns, songs, and scales. Also the basic stuff like what your looking for. All free on a official website taught by a professional! CHECK OUT THIS SITE AND FAST! :D http://guitar.about.com/library/blguitarlessonarchive.htm

It has more than like 10 lessons each one lasts you a week or more. Have fun and dont stop playing. Also, stay away from youtube until you have learned the basics so you dont get mislead into failure of guitar playing. Have fun!

First of all, I would stay away from youtube.

For basics you should actually buy any real, published beginners basics book (preferably one with a CD to play along to)

Those are much better than trying to use thi internet.

Also, go buy last months guitar world magazine. It comes with a CD of someone teaching you Steve Vai's ten hour workout. It's hard at first but it really helps with finger dexterity and such.

Good luck, and stick with it, it will get more fun soon.

of direction. I even have an element time night pastime at this remarkable 80s bar that I co-very own and human beings walk not even basically interior it, yet around it interior the city. exceptionally this guy who has long, blonde, teased hair. he's not at all touched a guitar in his existence. in reality he's a vocalist and an extremely close pal of mine. He gets human beings speaking **** approximately him each and every of the time and he does not care. he basically tells them to **** off. positioned on you're hair even with the shown fact which you decide on it and don't take **** from human beings. they don't seem to be worth it sluggish. in the event that they're stereotyping you basically overlook approximately them.
