Evidently this guitar was made in Indonesia and it is an entry level guitar. Not worth more than $150 in good condition.

Although Russell is a wealth of information in most cases, and especially when it comes to Fender electrics, he's about $100 off on this one, Fender hasn't actually made an acoustic guitar sense 1971, there outsourced to Asia these days, From 1970 to the mid to late 70's they were outsourced to Harmony who was the largest maker of stringed instruments in the US, Unfortunately they started outsourcing to Japan and eventually went out of business, which is no surprise as they were horrid guitars, Fender acoustics are just a footnote in there history, Basically they took there electric designs which they are famous for and tried to apply it to their acoustics, this made for visually interesting guitars but sounded horrible, But yet the Fender name still sold, just as it does today, and if Fender can make a buck off the name they will, Thus make it in Asia and slap a Fender logo on it, it will sell. Today they do make an Acoustic in the name of Guild which they bought out in the mid 00.s. however Guild aficionados wont touch them, Then the whole Tacoma deal really pissed off the acoustic crowd, basically they bought them up and started making there newly acquired Guild guitars there till they could finish the Corona CA factory, which I might add is Fenders only US factory, the other is in Mexico, Anyway, once completed they shut down the Tacoma WA, shop and discontinued the Tacoma name, which is most likely where the Asian beauty you have got its model designation, DG6 is the lowest end model as Tacoma's DM9 was there's, Only thing is The DM9 is better than the highest end US made vintage Fender or Fender made Guild, So now you know a bit more trivia about your Fender acoustic, And on a side note some Guild aficionados will play a Tacoma built Guild, actually quite nice for a post Fender, as I have a Guild D55 that was built there, I also have a pre Fender DM9, along with a few other Tacoma's
