I need some help with these three guitars
The jackson DK2S dinky has the sustainiac and Duncan pickup.
Ibanez RGT6EX has a good reputation and has the EMGs pickups and EDGE III tremolo,
the schecter Damien Elite 6 FR has EMGs and a reasonable Floyd Rose.
All around the same price.

Please does anyone has an idea/ experience which guitar is more inclined for heavy metal/ solos and good for gigging!

All inputs are much appreciated
Thanks

Which one do you like better? Have you played either of these guitars? I know a lot of guitar players that prefer Schecter over Ibanez. I know a lot that prefer Ibanez over Schecter. The reason is the fretboard. It's completely different, in terms of feel.

I use to prefer Schecter guitars. The quality of the guitars a few years ago was astounding. I bought 2, and they're still awesome guitars. I've gone to several guitar stores and picked up new ones and the build quality isn't there anymore.

It seems to be the opposite for Ibanez. I use to hate these. They had quality issues back when Schecter was really good... now it seems that Ibanez quality, at least on there mid-range to high range guitars are a lot better.

For all three companies, their low ranged guitars ($500 and below) aren't going to be great guitars.

One thing to watch for, is that the pickups actually say EMG 81 or 85, and not designed by EMG, or Duncan designed... etc. These are not good pickups.

Also, I hope you've tried EMG's before. I hated them. The Jackson has passive pickups... so you may wish to play all 3 guitars and then purchase which one feels and sounds better to you. The middle position pickup on the Jackson might be annoying as well. Sometimes that middle pickup gets in the way when you're picking, at least for me it does.

Those are all good brands but if you're gonna play it out of a 'cheap bastard', underpowered amp, using a $4 guitar cord, the brand of guitar won't mean jack!
