I use stringsbymail.com --- they provide everything I use, including some of the more non-typical brands and sizes, with fast delivery service. Don't use any of the online instrument retailers as they all suck and do not specialize in providing instrument strings as their main line of business. By the way, you didn't cause your string to break by tuning it too high as you say. Strings just get old and wear out and that's what happened to yours. The wound strings on a classic guitar such as you have usually last about 40 playing hours until it's time to replace them.

Hi

You can order from:

www.guitarstringsonline.co.uk

They're based in Edinburgh but can deliver to Germany no problem. You should have your strings within of 3-4 days.

Find a local guitar shop and they will have instruments hanging on the wall. Point out what you want and they will have it for you immediately and no postage, shipping or handling.
