I don't need the electronics to be anything fancy, because I wanna put a Seymour Duncan Invader pickup in it, so, I'm just looking for a guitar that looks really cool. Preferably not an artist's custom model. Please let me know what you guys have, or what you think looks really cool.

Well as much as I agree with the other guy that RG's are awesome..

They're not really radically shaped. It's a superstrat...

From Ibanez the only real "radical" guitar is the Xiphos, Destroyer, and Iceman. Esp. the new 27 fret one. However, the EDGE III trem that comes on it sucks balls. Expect to have to swap it out if bought.

I know you don't want an artist custom but these are real nice.

Anything by BC Rich or some of the higher end Ibanez. Look into a BC Rich Warlock Metal Master. Jackson and ESP are also well known metal companies.

well. it depends mostly on how much your willing to spend. lets go with different price ranges.

300 - 600

in this area, u can go with BC rich. BC rich is the guitar company to go with if ur looking for a radicly shaped guitar. heres a link to their body selection area.

choose the cheaper models and ull be set. the problem with them however is that they are pretty crappy quality compared to anything out of Ibanez's J-Craft Shop. i bought my guitar custom build by J-Craft. J-Craft is where all their best guitars come from. its straight out of japan. Japan has some of the best metal guitars in the world. at least at the consumer level.

another good source to look at is ESP. they have some pretty cool looking guitars.

the better quality (still kinda bad though) is DEAN. Dean is pretty good. thats the brand that dime bag darrell from Pantera used. they have some pretty cool shapes.

heres a link to some of their cool guitar.

Now. if your willing to spend some money. like over 1000. then my best suggestion is to go to this website. its located in Las Vegas Nevada. its the biggest guitar store IN THE WORLD!!! this place is amazing. if you think guitar center and sam ash have some pretty cool stuff, then your horribly mistaken my friend. the place is called Ed Roman Guitars and it is Heaven for guitarists. people from around the world come here. this place is amazing. its basicly the costco of guitars. pretty expensive comparatively to other places but you can work with them to get you a good deal. plus, and heres the best part. ill put it in all caps. IF YOU BUY A GUITAR FROM THEM, THEY GIVE YOU A FREE CASE AND A FREE SETUP!!!! awesome. anyway heres a link. i highly recomend you visit it some day.

http://www.edroman.com

go there

also check out this one. very very very very very expensive, but cool to look at and have. it has 40 frets by the way and costs i think $18,000

its one of a kind

no other guitar in the world like it. handmade. awesome.

Like all of the others were saying, an Ibanez (what i have), a B.C. Rich but also a dean.

Ibanezes are great for metal and look the part too; but if you really want someting crazy then get a B.C. Rich, they are cheap but look really cool. and Deans are really underestimated, they have a great sound to them and they have cool fyling "v"'s and other models.

Go to guitarcenter.com to look at some
