Well there are some pretty significant differences between classical and flamenco music, most of it is in the right hand.

It's really difficult to develop both techniques to a high level, that's why great flamenco players (like Paco De Lucia and Sabicas) are/were not great classical players. Likewise, great classical players (like Julian Bream and Andres Segovia), were terrible flamenco players (Segovia actually HATED flamenco music with an intense passion).

Flamenco guitars are also quite different. Not only are they made from different types of wood, but they are not as deep and have a different type of internal bracing. These different qualities compliment flamenco music better.

The best advice I can give you is to try to track down someone who plays flamenco music in your area. It may be difficult, but that is the best way to learn.

Play anything you know and use the beat "ONE, TWO, THREE and FOUR, ONE, TWO, THREE and it will come out sounding vaguely Flamenco.. OR.. you can just move to Spain for the summer and come home playing Flamenco. The ONLY way to actually learn ANY GENRE of music is by LIVING and LEARNING it where it's actually being played.

Pick up the sheet music for "Malaguena" for starters. Learn the basic melody of the song and then improvise with the basic chord structure of E, F, and G chords to bring the song to life.

Many view "Malaguena" as the basics to flamenco music.
