You want original? try listening to the entire score of "Chess" the musical. The most under-appreciated yet most AMAZING musical ever. I suggest "pity the child" it's quiet at the beginning then loud, VERY high and intense at the end.

If you don't want to try anything that unknown, go with something like "Fortune favors the brave" or "Elaborate lives" from Aida, or maybe "sit down your rockin' the boat" from guys and dolls. There are so many awesome tenor songs out there.

I suggest looking up Adam Pascal. The highest tenor out there. He sings the first three songs I recommended. What an awesome voice.

Hope I helped

A great song for High notes might be the song Today 4 U sung by the character Angel in Rent. Another good song from that show is One Song Glory, but it's a little more mellow.

Or you could sing most songs from the Lion King.

Theres also a couple good songs from Avenue Q. It might depend on who your audience is, that show is kinda raunchy.

Anything from "Sound of Music" where the dad sings it, that one song where he sings that one love song...I forget what it is. OH! How about something off of that one old musical "The Music Man". Yeah! He sings practically every song.
