Well it really does depend on the brand of the drums. The Sabian B8 cymbals are not worth that much. The 2 china's are not worth much either so about total for the cymbals maybe 300 dollars. The hardware is pretty decent. The iron cobra bass drum pedal is one of the best on the market still today. For a single pedal it runs around 100-150 dollars. The rack depreciates in value the more it is used. These things dent very easily. Trust me I know because I used to have one with my DW before I actually bought separate stands. As far as the rest of the stands, they seem to be mix and match. I would say around 900-1000 for the hardware at least. Throw away the drumsticks, they are terrible and buy you some Vic Firth's.

As far as trading a dirt bike for drums? Well that is totally up to you. I am a professionally trained percussionist. So I know what I would choose. But if you are a beginner on drums, go to your local music store and buy a new kit, which will last you longer and pay off in the long run. If you like to ride dirt bikes, then have at it. If it was for me I would sell the bike and go buy a new drum set, not this one especially with those cymbals being what they are. Hope this helps.

Well I've seen that exact kit for $639 new. I wouldn't care for the 10, 12, 14 toms that much. I would prefer 12, 13, 16. I find a 10" tom almost useless. Mine never leaves the case. If they are new why is all of the hardware some other brand than Ludwig? Did he special order the drums only instead of buying the complete kit w/ hardware? The hardware mentioned is good stuff, just curious. The hardware and cymbals alone would be over $1000 new. I'd say if you want drums and aren't riding the bike much it would be a fair trade for both parties.

I checked out prices online for you.

$800 5 piece custom Ludwig set .

$140 Hi-hat and 16" crash

$ 80 18" medium crash

$ 95 20" ride

$100 Zildjian china

Right there is $1200 without shipping charges. He has well over $300 worth of hardware and other stuff. I think it's a smokin' deal. Check the drum shells and cymbals out for cracks, other than that everything else would be easy to fix or replace parts.

hey bro, i don't know if this answer is the one that you want,but i know that drums only lose half their value....so if you bought your set for $3000then it would be worth $ 1500 ...so i'm gonna say yeah take the drums and rock out
